Digital Signal Processing |

| Digital signal processing (DSP) is specially used to filter signals from sensors and to get rid of unwanted interference. With proper application, the results of sensors or other analog signals can be improved greatly. |

It is not always necessary to ue a dedicated DSP-chip. Often, the same result can be obtained with a regular microprocessor. For the implementation, we make use of different filter types and a filter design program. (see our own Filter design program).
Apart from that, if a PC is used in the application, more extensive signal conditioning may be done on the PC. TheĀ audio-analyzer that we developed, with it's FFT- and Filtermodules, is a good example of this approach.

Depending on the application, the optimal DSP-chip is chosen.
