A universal power supply that has flexible output voltages and can be supplied as IP (Intellectual property) for use in your designs.
For devices that are used internationally, it is important that the power supply is 'universal'. Otherwise, for countries like the US and Japan (110V), different version must be provided.
A 'universal' power supply can work from 110V ~ 240V, with either 50 or 60Hz line frequencies.
For this type of requirements, Engineering Spirit developed a concept that can be integrated on the PCB of a device. The concept is licensed in IP (Intellectual property) form. Additionally, the controller and transformer can be ordered.
