High power Battery Analyzer BA16 / BA16Li

This High power Battery analyzer is used to measure the capacity of battery packs for electric bicycles, scooters and power tools. The Analyzer can be used on it's own, or connected to the PC using USB. The capacity is measured by discharging a fully charged battery. To allow analysis for batteries at high currents, this analyzer is designed for battery packs from 6 to 36V, up to 16 Amp, and a continuous power dissipation of 270W.
The user may set the discharge current to the value that belongs to that specific battery.

Features Battery pack voltages from 6 to 36V. Test any type of battery: NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Poly, LiFePO4, lead-acid and non-rechargeable batteries. Fast constant current discharge with currents upto 16A, digitally controlled. Max. continuous power dissipation 270W. So: Vbat x Idis < 270; 24V -> 11.25Amp Short test times ex. 24V 10Ah battery: 50~60min. LCD display with white characters on a blue backlit background. USB interface to the PC software. Continuous display of: Voltage under load and no-load condition in Volts. Discharge current in Amp. Capacity in mAh. Temperature of battery (if battery pack supports it). Status of over temperature switch (if battery pack supports it). Audible alarms and end-of-measurement signal. BA300Li performs checks to test the short-current protection of Li-Ion/Poly packs. The Battery analyzer program displays discharge curves	Volt (loaded/un-loaded) vs. Time Volt (loaded/un-loaded) vs. capacity [mAh]. Battery resistance vs. capacity [mAh]. Temperature vs. Time.
