Battery Analyzer support

Support files for the Battery analyzers.

Please be carefull selecting the correct firmware when updating your device.
Please, first check the model number/name on the serial number sticker at the back of the device.

 

Battery Analyzer Firmware BA16

The firmware for the internal code for the Battery Analyzers:

  • BA16-300
  • BA16-300Li
Note that the type number is shown on the serial number sticker at the back of the device.

With this firmware, the BA-16 Battery analyzers are now upgraded to support the PC-software V2.2 and later.

You only need to download this if your current version is out-of-date. The Version is display on the LCD at start-up.
The update procedure is as follows:

 

  • Unzip the content of the ZIP file to a location on your harddisk that you can find. This is a file with .hex at the end.
  • Start the BatteryAnalyzer software and select [File -> Update Firmware]
  • Locate the programming file and press Program.
Battery Analyzer Firmware AA16

The firmware for the internal code for the Battery Analyzer AA-16. Note that the type number is shown on the serial number sticker at the back of the device.

With this firmware, the AA-16 Battery analyzers are now upgraded to support the PC-software V2.2 and later.

You only need the download version (1.9) this if your current version has a lower number. The Version is display on the LCD at start-up.
The update procedure is as follows:

 

  • Unzip the content of the ZIP file to a location on your harddisk that you can find. This is a file with .hex at the end.
    It also contains a .pdf  with instructions.
  • Open the PDF and follow the instructions.

 

This version supports analysis of regular battery packs, connected to  Battery+ and Battery-, while leaving the other connections open.
